Hi all! 👋
Here's the EASIEST way to optimize the search engine elements of your site,
aaaand it's actually a lot easier than you think!
Let's get into it!
If you're already familiar with SEO then you can scroll on down to the next section, if SEO is one of those terms you've heard about and know is important, but haven't taken the time to learn or implement it, this section is for you!
(I'll be keeping it brief, go here for more information about SEO)
Search engine optimization (SEO), is the process of optimizing the search engine elements of your site to make it easier for search engines to understand who and what you're about, which makes it easier for the people looking for your service, product, or message to find you.
Search engine optimization improves your online visibility and the experience of your site visitors.
Step 1. Download the Chrome extension 'Detailed'
(If you don't use chrome extensions there should be an equivalent for your browser)
Step 2. Open your website and the sites of the top 1-3 competitors in your niche.
Step 3. Using the Detailed Chrome extension, compare and model your meta titles, descriptions, and H1-H6 tags after the top competitors! (More details in the video above)
Here's a variation of those steps:
On step 2 you can also simply look up the keyword you want your page to rank for, or your general niche, like "dog training classes", then open the first 1-3 links that are not sponsored.
Those are the most highly optimized pages for that search result, meaning if you want your site to pull up for the 'dog training classes' search query, the first few organic results are the best websites to model after your SEO after.
I hope this helps one of you random souls out there, thanks for taking the time to visit my site and consume my content, i'm glad we exist together.
Wishing you well,
